Last chance to get your spot for the Kingston gathering of nonprofits April 1st

The ONN team is directing our compass east as we head to Kingston next week. We're looking forward to joining Social Planning Council of Kingston and District and an enthusiastic group of local nonprofits. The program will cover a provincial scope of what's happening in Ontario's nonprofit sector when it comes to trends and issues that are impacting regions like Kingston, plus updates on provincial legislation that's on the nonprofit radar, along with labour force planning for the sector.

Cost: $35 (includes a light breakfast, lunch and snack break)

This event is hosted by Social Planning Council of Kingston and District in partnership with ONN and with the support of the Kingston Not-for-Profit Housing Association. 

Coming to you live from the Kawarthas on May 22nd

Get engaged in big picture sector thinking and find new ways to build strong and vibrant communities in Peterborough! ONN is heading to the Kawarthas and we're thrilled to be teaming up with COIN and United Way of Peterborough & District. This is a great chance to hear about policies and issues at the provincial level. You can also hear about inspiring ideas bubbling up to strengthen communities in the Peterborough, Haliburton, Durham, Kawartha Lakes and Northumberland regions.

This day-long event will feature topics that include:

  • Provincial scope: what's happening in Ontario's nonprofit sector and how provincial trends and issues have impact on the regional level

  • Working together to make change: tactics and strategies for the nonprofit sector

  • Regional approaches to social enterprise and tools for social finance

  • Shaping the future of nonprofit leadership and labour force trends
