3 Reasons not to miss Nonprofit Driven 2017.png

We want to hear your voice and perspective!

We were thrilled you could join the active discussions and strategy planning for 2015’s Nonprofit Driven. Since then, there has been a lot of action happening in the public policy space for nonprofits and charities, along with movement building for positive change in Ontario communities.

What’s the 2017 edition of Nonprofit Driven all about?

1. This year, get inspired by three captivating plenary keynotes:

Lessons from advocacy in the U.S., the role of nonprofits in the Truth and Reconciliation process, and election experiences to learn from in an upcoming double election year.

2. Choose from 16 breakout sessions by their stage in the advocacy ecocycle:

Whether it’s exploring new issues, building skills for developing tactics, updating your policy (brain) bank or rethinking issues and approaches when we collectively get stuck. With lively table discussions and briefings on the latest government policy, there are sessions for everyone, including recent labour legislation, the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, funding reform, new advocacy strategies, leadership trends and tactics, a national social innovation strategy, and much more.

3. Access Fundamentals, our special pre-event to the main day.

Join 200 nonprofit professionals on November 8 to learn about public policy priorities that affect the nonprofit sector and communities, and build skills in exciting workshops. Topics include nonprofit financial management, social enterprise, social purchasing, storytelling for social change, and lessons from the field on mergers and amalgamations. A great deal at $50 for the day!
