Help build a Decent Work Movement for Ontario nonprofits!

ONN is thrilled to be moving to the next phase of our Decent Work Project and we’re looking for a creative and energetic policy and systems thinker to help us build a decent work movement in Ontario. The Project Lead will engage ONN’s network and the nonprofit sector. The Lead will also work with our Pensions Implementation Task Force and our working group on decent work.

This is a unique opportunity to work on both policy and communication regarding decent work. The Project Lead will help advance decent work practices in the sector, including systemic changes in public policy and legislation, funding and evaluation systems and access to sector-tailored solutions, like a pension plan. The Lead will also create communication tools about the project, such as presentations, templates and additional resources.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with a small team in a “get stuff done” environment, with a passion for networks and supporting Ontario’s nonprofits and charities.

Who are we?

Ontario’s nonprofit sector is diverse, with over 55,000 organizations in communities across the province. ONN plays a unique role: developing and analyzing public policy, connecting nonprofits across the province about shared opportunities and trends, and channeling collective expertise to find solutions to issues facing the sector. ONN engages its network to create innovative ways to strengthen the nonprofit sector.
