Leading the Conversation: Inclusion in Non-Profits

This free training program offers practical, solutions-based learning tools and resources to increase diversity and inclusion at your organization. The curriculum includes two in-person workshops, two live webinars, and eLearning over a four-month period with a focus on cultural diversity in the workplace. Leading the Conversation: Inclusion in Non-Profits curriculum

Through the live sessions, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and connect with other non-profits working on the same challenges.

The Leading the Conversation program includes sessions on:

  • Awareness and assessment

  • Finding and keeping talent

  • Communications and developing human capital

  • Leadership and diversity strategy

This program is for you if you’re someone:

  • who is currently working in a senior position at an Ontario non-profit

  • who is responsible for strategy within their organization (e.g., Executive Director, HR manager, etc.)

who is looking to increase diversity in your workplace; for example, exploring, developing or implementing diversity strategies

The Leading the Conversation: Inclusion in Non-Profits training has now been recognized by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) as a program for the professional development (PD) credits.

Join The Next Cohorts! 

Start dates for the three 2016 cohorts are:

  • February 2016 – Ottawa and Area: Based in Ottawa, this opportunity is being offered in partnership with Hire Immigrants Ontario (HIO). Apply by December 18, 2015.
  • March 2016 – Southwestern Ontario: Apply by January 22, 2016
  • September 2016 – Location TBD: Location will be determined by the number of applications received from different Ontario regions. Accepting applications until August 2016.
