Speaking at Giving & Getting: The Role of Foundations in Shaping Our Sector:
Susan Phillips, Professor of Public Policy and Administration, Carleton University. Susan has been in her role at Carleton University for more than 25 years and served as the School’s director from 2005 to 2014. Susan led the creation in 2012 of Canada’s first graduate program in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership and continues as program supervisor. Her research focuses on understanding how a rapidly changing environment is affecting the work of nonprofits and philanthropy, and how public policy can better support this sector.

Speaking at Creating a Vibrant Democracy: How Nonprofits Can Step Up in the Next 5 Years:Jessica Bolduc, Executive Director, 4Rs Youth Movement, a collaboration of fourteen national organizations who are working with youth to create capacities for Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people to change the country by changing their relationship with each other. Jessica is a Board Member of Community Foundations of Canada, and the National Youth Representative for the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples.

Speaking at Creating a Vision to Inform our Sector's Legal Structure:
Deborah Grant, COO, The Learning Enrichment Foundation. Deborah is a leader in the Scottish Nonprofit and Social Enterprise sector. Deborah specializes in child care, enterprise and organizational transformation. Before taking up her current role as COO at The Learning Enrichment Foundation in Toronto she was leading a Social Enterprise in Glasgow and was Chair of the Glasgow Social Enterprise Network.

Speaking at A Nonprofit Sector Pension Plan for Ontario: A Model to Consider:
Michel Lizée, Trustee and pension committee’s secretary, the Régime de retraite des groupes communautaires et de femmes. Michel helped put this pension plan in place. He was a pension trustee for 32 years at a University pension plan and he lead for more than 20 years educational activities on pensions for labour pension plan trustees and trade union activists.

Speaking at Data = Knowledge = Power: A Data Strategy for Ontario's Nonprofit Sector:
Carolyn Stewart, Manager, Operations & Finance, the Ontario Association of Food Banks. A graduate from the University of Guelph in Public Policy and from Ryerson University in nonprofit management, Carolyn has been working in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years. She began her career at GS1 Canada, a non-profit organization specializing in supply-chain management and standardization.
