NEW!

So, the Ontario Budget happened. What does it mean for the Ontario nonprofit sector and what can we leverage together?

The 2017 Budget was focused on balancing the fiscal deficit. But what about the social deficit remaining for our communities?

What’s in the budget that will support your work and the sector’s work going forward, and how can we leverage opportunities to work together?

There's strength in numbers, and our presenters will share their perspectives on the fine print in the budget, and any news on the release of the budget tables. New to reading provincial budgets? Join us for this professional development opportunity to put a nonprofit policy lens to this guiding document for the province.

In this webinar, you will:

  • Learn how to identify key Budget measures that affect nonprofits

  • Find out other helpful resources to make sense of the Budget and its implications for your organization

  • Explore what options exist for reacting to provincial Budget initiatives, including:

    • getting your MPP's or Minister's attention

    • rallying partners to raise awareness and take collective action

    • communicating with the province on how you can play a role in working together on shared objectives

  • Hear analysis of how the budget may impact some subsectors

  • Get your questions answered about the budget
